Since opening in March 2022. Shining star support services have been privileged to offer our community NDIS services. We offer assistance in Mannum, Murray Bridge and the surrounding Murraylands communities. We can assist adults, teenagers and children who have a current, plan-managed or self-managed NDIS plan. We are committed to not only providing quality supports and services, but going above and beyond to ensure our participants are completely satisfied. We offer person centered supports tailored to each participant. As we understand everyone's needs, likes and wants are different. Our Story
At the start of 2022 Cheryl had a vision to start her own disability support company. She wanted to offer services that made a difference. Cheryl's inspiration to go out on her own came after the passing of a very special client. Cheryl was stumped on a name for her new direction in life. In the early stages of setting up Shining star Cheryl heard of the passing of a previous client. This is where the name Shining Star came from. These 2 ladies are Cheryl's shining stars in our logo, they taught Cheryl that support work is so much more than just a job and turning up each day. They were an inspiration to Cheryl and so Shining star was born. Cheryl has over 10 years' experience in disability support and in-home age care. Cheryl holds a certificate 3 in Disability and an Undergraduate certificate in community support. Cheryl is a big advocate for her clients. Cheryl has a great team of support workers behind her. Each one bringing something unique to the table. They all work as a team to provide the best supports that they can. All Shining star staff have up to date clearances and certificates. We pride ourselves on giving our participants flexibility, choice and control.

Support staff times are as needed.
